Welcome to the QRP-L mailing list! This list is intended for the exchange of information on QRP-related topics. THIS LIST ONLY ACCEPTS PLAIN TEXT MAIL! TOTAL MESSAGE SIZE IS LIMITED TO 25K! PLEASE EMAIL qrp-l-owner@qrp-l.org WITH YOUR CALLSIGN AFTER SIGNING UP. IF YOU DON'T PROVIDE A CALLSIGN YOUR REQUEST WILL BE DECLINED. Members will not be moderated, however there are monitors on line at all times. Please ensure that your message is relevant to QRP. On the rare occasion that an off-topic message is warranted, preface the subject of your message with "OT:" so that others may filter such messages. For the most part, the list relies on its participants to keep their posts on topic. Do not attempt to police the list. If a topic doesn't interest you, filter it, delete the message, or ignore it. The delete key is marked "Del" or "Delete" on your keyboard. Although some off-topic "thread drift" happens on all lists, the monitors will address any excessive off-topic posts. There will be no personal attacks against individuals and organizations. Disagreeing with others, or with the actions of an organization, can be done without attack or being disagreeable. There will be no Profanity. Breaking these rule will lead to termination from the QRP-L list If you are responding to a post made by someone else, it is usually best to quote the text for which you are offering additional comment. Please use good judgment about this, and trim out all but the part of the original text you are responding to. While this list may be used to buy, sell, trade or seek QRP equipment for sale, no auctions are to be conducted. If you see a neat QRP-related item on an auction site, or if you are selling a personal item on an auction site, you may make a single post, telling people about it. The list is not intended to help QRP-related businesses make money, so please keep it personal only. Do not complain on the list about emails posted by others. If there is an objectionable message posted to the list, please send a private e-mail to info@qrp-l.org. The best way to help to end a thread is not to continue posting messages. Please use your call-sign in all emails to QRP-L so we know who you are. Anonymous subscriptions to QRP-L will be removed. Using qrp-l
To post a message to all the list members, send email to qrp-l@qrp-l.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to qrp-l
Subscribe to qrp-l by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. Once confirmation is received, your request will be held for approval by the list moderator. You will be notified of the moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
