Hi Steve,

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner about the board sizes. That's a
common question that gets asked, but I don't think I've ever published
the actual board sizes in the documentation (I keep forgetting!). I've
just made a placeholder in my updated documentation so that I can
remember to put the proper measurements in there.

Glad to see that you just dove in head first with the building! You
certainly don't need to use the layout diagram if you are an
experienced builder. I wanted to provide it for those who needed the
help, but I don't think that I necessarily did the best layout that
could be done. That's really cool that you already got the audio chain
up and running, that's actually the bulk of the receiver. Once you get
the pain of building the product detector done, the rest of the RX is
easy. Your two sig gens should work great. Just inject approximately
+7 dBm into the prod det at the frequency of your choice.

Hope you keep us updated with your progress, as I really love to hear
everyone's experiences building the rig. Also, if you have a digital
camera, it would be really great to see some pictures posted to the
Flickr group (in my signature below). And if you have trouble sourcing
parts, let me know.
