Sam,
Davis RF has some really thin insulated 30 strand copper weld wire good for
70 pounds
1,000 feet just about tips the scale at 1 pound
.14 cents per foot and I think when I picked some up you had to buy a 50 roll

I'm considering top loading a 13.5 foot antenna I have here.
The top 103 inches is a stainless whip.
Any suggestions what wire I could use
to hang four 9 foot wires from the tip down at a 45 degree angle?
I don't want the wire to break,
but also don't want the weight to cause the tip to try to lean over.
This will be located in a place I can't just run up and repair any problems,
so it needs to be a build it, tune it, and forget it, type setup.
